CCL Final 2011: Chennai Rhinos vs Karnataka Bulldozers Results

Celebrity Cricket League Final: Chennai Rhinos will take on Karnataka Bulldozers in the final of the Celebrity Cricket League 2011 at Hyderabad on 12 June.
Karnataka Bulldozers have won all their games, while Chennai Rhinos were able to win only one game.

After bulldozing all the three teams – Hindi, Telugu and Tamil the Kannada film stars team ‘Karnataka Bulldozers’ in the final match of T20 CCL on Sunday evening at Hyderabad Rajiv Gandhi Stadium, Uppal were trounced by Chennai Rhinos.

Chennai Rhinos were given batting after Kichcha Sudeep winning the toss. 189 runs in 20 over for Chennai Rhinos was a defending total. Karnataka Bulldozers losing quick wickets, at one time 24 for four regained with good batting from Bhasker and Sudeep. But it was not enough to surpass the total of 189. Karnataka were 165 for nine at the 20th over completion.

Poor batting was mainly responsible for Karnataka Bulldozers the hot favorites to lose the first Celebrity Cricket League.

Chennai Super Kings won the IPL recently and now Chennai Rhinos led by actor Sarathkumar won the CCL on Sunday evening and rejoiced.

The co owner of CCL, Karnataka Bulldozers Ashok Kheney was confident that his team would bulldoze the opponent in less than 100 runs. But at one point of time the same situation was around the corner for his team.

Top actress Sridveri handed over the winner trophy of CCL to Sarathkumar and runner up trophy to Kichcha Sudeep was presented by Subhas Ghai the famous Bollywood director. Hindi film actor and politician Shatrugna Sinha, Mohan Babu, Bollywood stars were present at the finals of the CCL.

Shriya Saran thrilled everyone with a song number after the Chennai Rhinos completed 20 over batting.


CCL Final 2011 will be telecast live on Maa TV.
