The International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA Awards) ceremony for the year 2011 is held for three days in the Rogers Centre in downtown Toronto, Canada from June 23-25, 2011.

The award ceremonies are held in various places around the world in order to showcase Indian cinema to the global audience, and for first time the IIFA Awards ceremony has been held in Canada and North America.

The IIFA Awards are given in various categories, the details of which are given below:

Backstage Awards for Best Dialogue, Best Costume, Best Make-up, Best Screenplay, Best Choreography, Best Action & Best Story

Musical Awards for Best Background Score, Best Music, Best Lyrics, Best Playback Singer (Male) & Best Playback Singer (Female).

Star Awards for Debutant Star Award (Male), Debutant Star Award (Female), Best Performance in a Comic Role, Best Performance in a Negative Role, Best Performance in a Supporting Role (Female), Best Performance in a Supporting Role (Male), Best Performance in a Leading Role (Female), Best Performance in a Leading Role (Male), Best Picture & Best Director.

Golden Decade Honours for Star of the Decade (female), Star of the Decade (male), Movie of the Decade & Director of the Decade.

Style Awards for Style Icon of the Year

And Green Award, Lifetime Achievement Award & Outstanding Achievement by an Indian in International Cinema.
