Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan, Karan Johar for best actress for "My Name is Khan", while Anushka Sharma chose a trophy of his role in "Band Baaja Baraat" International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) awards here.
Anushka, who played a lively wedding planner in the film, Shilpa Shetty received her trophy from Saturday night. Shah Rukh was awarded his prize Anil Kapoor and actress Hilary Swank is a surprise attraction IIFA.
Best Director award went to Karan Johar for "My Name Is Khan" - the story of a Muslim boy with Asperger's syndrome.
Things to do Johar awards even more special was that he brought the trophy for "Jerry Maguire" actor Cuba Gooding Jr., who joined the Indian beauty Bipasha Basu on stage.
"Dabangg" took the prize for best film.
